Chess Pro is a free Chrome extension developed by developer101 that aims to enhance the Lichess playing experience. This extension suggests the best move on Lichess using voice suggestions and even automatically moves the pieces for you.
To run the extension, simply open the Extensions menu by clicking on the puzzle icon next to your profile avatar. Pin Chess Pro by clicking on the pushpin icon, and a knight icon will appear on the taskbar. Click on the knight icon to enable the extension.
Chess Pro offers several features to customize your gameplay. You can adjust the analysis depth to get better moves, with a recommended depth of 9 or above. However, be cautious as setting the depth too high may lead to the risk of your account getting closed. Additionally, the extension allows you to set the maximum wait time for the next move in "Automove" mode.
Other notable features include the option to let the extension automatically play for you, as well as voice suggestions for the moves. Chess Pro also offers an "Auto play new game" feature, which automatically finds a new game once the current one finishes. For those looking for a bit of fun, the extension even includes a joke opening called "Bongcloud."
It is important to note that the extension intentionally does not highlight positions when playing on lichess.org. This is to prevent cheating detection by the platform. However, you can still use the extension by enabling either the autoplay mode or voice suggestion mode.
